Al Gray, Marine:
The Early Years, 1950–1967, Vol. 1

General Al Gray is probably best known as the Twenty-Ninth Commandant of the Marine Corps. Uniquely charismatic, his leadership within the Corps during the turbulent times of the Vietnam war, and beyond, is legendary.

Published by Potomac Institute Press, this is the first volume of the Al Gray, Marine series by the talented author, Scott Laidig. The book was composed from extensive interviews and personal documents and outlines General Gray’s career from the rank of corporal to lieutenant colonel. This book received widespread positive reviews and the paperback, hardbound, and ebook versions are available on Amazon.

It has been—and continues to be—a privilege to work closely with General Gray, Scott Laidig, and the Potomac Institute Press to bring this outstanding book series to the public.

Catsworth Publishing Services, LLC completed the editing, design, layout, typesetting, and proofreading for this Potomac Institute for Policy Studies publication. We worked closely with the author to finalize the text and secure copyright permissions. We finalized the publishing requirements and set the title up for distribution on behalf of Institute. Patrick Worcester provided the original cover design.
