About Sherry...

Sherry Loveless is a freelance editor, graphic designer, artist, and publishing consultant. She provides editorial, design, and publication services to academic institutions, non-profit organizations, and indie authors. While she specializes in the management and production of books, journals, and reports, she also provides consulting services to self-publishing authors, and produces a range of products such as newsletters, brochures, and marketing materials. She has considerable experience with international and inter-disciplinary academic specialties.

She has worked on titles in a wide array of subjects, such as science and technology policy, musical performance anxiety, cybersecurity, terrorism, brain injury, as well as memoirs of notable people. She was instrumental in the peer review, production, and publication of the peer-reviewed multi-disciplinary journal Synesis: A Journal of Science, Technology, Ethics, and Policy. Since 2009, Sherry has served as the Managing Editor of the peer-reviewed, international BioMedCentral journal Philosophy, Ethics, and Humanities in Medicine.

Sherry Loveless is also an interdisciplinary scholar whose academic research focuses on anthrozoology, ethology, and animal ethics and welfare in research, sport, and public life. She has an affiliation with the Animal Behavior and Conservation Program of Hunter College of the City University of New York, NY.
